About project
DEPS-Skills is a modern e-learning platform designed to develop 10 key soft skills essential for career growth and labor market integration. Through interactive training in emotional intelligence, negotiation and entrepreneurship, communication, professional ethics, career and time management, digital literacy, critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and cultural intelligence with teamwork, learners gain practical knowledge for real-world success. Built on Moodle, the platform features gamified elements, self-assessment tests, and engaging digital content, making learning dynamic, accessible, and effective for adult learners seeking to enhance their professional skills.
The DEPS-Skills project aims to enhance the integration of adults—especially migrants, returnees, and vulnerable groups—into the labor market by strengthening their soft skills through digital tools and non-formal education.
The project seeks to increase access to adult education via a modern, gamified e-learning platform that provides training on 10 soft skills essential for success in professional and social life. It also promotes inclusive learning to meet adult needs.
The project is coordinated by the Alytus Business Advisory Center (LT) and implemented in cooperation with:
These partners bring expertise in adult education, migration, and social integration, ensuring a transnational approach to addressing soft skills development.
The platform focuses on developing the following soft skills, which are highly valued by employers across Europe:
Each skill is presented through multimedia learning materials, gamified tools, and self-assessment tests.
The DEPS-Skills project targets two main groups:
- Low-skilled adult learners, including migrants, refugees, returnees, and individuals excluded from formal education systems.
- Adult educators seeking to enhance their digital teaching skills and soft skills training competencies. The project supports lifelong learning, equality in education, and adaptation to labor market needs in Lithuania, Poland, Ireland, and Norway.
Key deliverables include:
An analytical report on soft skills and cultural identity integration into the labor market.
10 Digital Educational Boxes, each focusing on a soft skill with interactive tools.
A 160-hour Digital Open Online Course (DOOC) for soft skills training.
10 training programs (40 academic hours each) in three languages (LT, PL, EN).
5 Digital Educational Labs (forums) across partner countries for dissemination and collaboration. All materials are available through the dedicated Moodle-based platform: www.courses.deps-skills.eu.
DEPS-Skills introduces innovative methods for teaching soft skills via digital technologies, helping modernize adult education systems. It supports educators with resources and promotes inclusion by addressing the educational needs of migrants and marginalized groups. It aligns with European strategies for digital transformation and lifelong learning, contributing to the upskilling and reskilling of the workforce in a post-pandemic context.
